Around two feet of rain was reported in February at the treehouse. Aging trails were inundated and the water just kept coming. It was like old times when it would rain here for weeks at a time. One report said we received 12 inches of rain in a 24 hour period. It was fun.
With only a few inches of topsoil most of the water drains very quickly without a lot of mud. But this was different. So I got a couple loads of rocks and started elevating the existing trails. I’ll get some more truckloads but here’s what it looks like now.
